Volunteers are the backbone of our communities.
Many services in our local areas would not be able to function without the dedication, hard work and kindness of volunteers.
These unsung heroes support services that make a genuine difference to people’s lives.
This year, I am holding the second Volunteer of the Year Awards for both East Dunbartonshire and West Dunbartonshire to celebrate the fantastic volunteers who make our communities a better place.
